Very interesting discussions:

About public policies and how they can participate at the value-creation of collaborative spaces and their implications in projects, such as Les Grands Voisins (Paris).

Ela Kagel (Supermarkt), from Supermarkt, suggests to think collaborative spaces as “common goods”. She precises that communities are dynamic and change all the time.

Rose-Marie Oger (Fab Lab Berlin) insists on the importance of knowledge management as a fundamental part of collaboration. Also about the cost of the team and its core task which is connecting people.

Collaborative space ambivalence: You pay to come in but you build the life of the space because what is happening inside depends on what you do.

Victor Maestle (LBMG) describes us Les Grands Voisins, a very original place in a former hospital and for a temporary time because the area will become a residential area in a few years. It is currrently a very open-minded place and a wonderful place to see people who would never meet working together. But he informs us about the trend of “coworking washing”.

So many research questions have been opened with the panel, such as the measurement of economic framework in collaborative economy or collaborative spaces and common goods.

12:21

Community ? “Persons who come to build something they are passionate to”Rose-Marie Oger (Fab Lab Berlin). “But also networks and organizations” Ela Kagel (Supermarkt)
